Abstract

Patient registration service is an important basic process in activities that occur in the hospital. To register, patient must come directly to the hospital and wait according to the queue number before they can register. This is certainly not efficient because the time they can take to rest or do other activities is used up to wait for the patient registration queue. From these problems which were the initial observations in november 2018 at Patut Patuh Patju Hospital, West Lombok, so an information system was needed that utilizes an android–based smartphone to make it easier for patients to register wherever and whenever without having to queue. The purpose oh this study was to design an online android-based booking system.  This online booking system development model uses the waterfall which includes requirements analysis and definition, system and software design, for the next stage, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing, and operation and maintenance are not carried out. Data collection techniques by means of observation and interviews. This study produced a design that could be a recommendation for hospital in the form of online registration.
