Adolescents represent a vulnerable group, easily influenced by their social environment, peer pressure, and limited self-control. This study aims to explore smoking behavior among adolescents in the Daksa Lok Bahu Samarinda Housing Complex using the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) frameworks, focusing on three key components: attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. A qualitative case study with a phenomenological approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven informants, including five adolescent smokers, one shop owner, and one peer, selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that although adolescents are aware of the health risks, smoking is perceived as a source of relaxation, confidence, and social acceptance. Peer influence and smoking behavior within the family reinforce permissive subjective norms, while perceived control to quit smoking remains low due to limited support and weak self-regulation. Smoking activities commonly occur outside school settings, such as at food stalls, friends’ houses, or cafés. In conclusion, adolescent smoking behavior is shaped by the interaction of favorable attitudes, permissive social norms, and low perceived behavioral control. Preventive strategies should therefore integrate health education with family and peer-based interventions to reduce smoking prevalence among adolescents
2025-10-31T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Annisa Safitrie, Nino Adib Chifdillah, Bernadetha Bernadethahttp://jurnal.unbim.ac.id/index.php/JPKIK/article/view/726Faktor Yang Berpengaruh Terhadap Kelelahan Kerja Pada Pekerja Bongkar Muat Barang2025-10-09T21:30:31+08:00Virgian Giranza[email protected]Tri Niswati Utami[email protected]Meutia Nanda[email protected]Rapotan Hasibuan[email protected]Hotmatua Peralihan[email protected]
Fatigue is a protective mechanism of the body to prevent injury, allowing recovery to occur during periods of rest. Truck freight activities are still dominated by manual labor, in which this working pattern is highly physically demanding and accelerates the fatigue experienced by workers. This study aims to determine the factors that influence work fatigue among loading and unloading workers in truck freight on Sunggal Street, Tanjung Rejo Sub-district. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, involving 60 loading and unloading workers in truck freight on Sunggal Street, Tanjung Rejo Sub-district. Data collection was conducted using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment questionnaire, the NIOSH Lifting Equation, and the Swedish Occupational Fatigue Inventory. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. The results showed significance values for the variables of age (0.594), working time (0.046), length of service (0.286), working posture (0.441), and lifting index (0.000). There was a significant partial effect of the variables working time, and lifting index on work fatigue. There was no significant effect of the variables age, length of service, and working posture on work fatigue. There was a simultaneous effect of the independent variables on the work fatigue variable with a p-value of (0.014). Workers need to pay attention to load weight, vertical load location, vertical distance, lifting frequency, coupling/handle, and lifting aids should be provided to reduce the risk of harm to workers.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Virgian Giranza, Tri Niswati Utami, Meutia Nanda, Rapotan Hasibuan, Hotmatua Peralihanhttp://jurnal.unbim.ac.id/index.php/JPKIK/article/view/727Profil Sensitivitas Antibiotik Bakteri Penyebab Infeksi Saluran Kemih Terkait Kateter di Kota Mataram 2025-10-09T21:18:05+08:00Baiq Isti Hijriani[email protected]Rubiyatna Sakaroni[email protected]Wirdullutfi Wirdullutfi[email protected]
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is defined as an infection caused by the growth of microorganisms in the urinary tract. One risk factor for urinary tract infection is catheterization. Treatment of UTI involves antibiotics. However, antibiotic resistance is currently increasing. This is a descriptive, observational study aimed at determining antibiotic sensitivity to bacteria causing catheter-associated urinary tract infections in Mataram City. The method used for sensitivity testing was Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion. The antibiotics tested were Ciprofloxacin and Sulphamethoxazole trimethoprime. This study used 60 urine samples from patients with UTI with catheterization. The results of the study after bacterial identification showed that 53.33% were gram-positive bacteria and 46.67% were gram-negative bacteria. The results of the ciprofloxacin antibiotic sensitivity test showed that the bacteria had inhibition zone diameters with resistant, intermediate, and sensitive categories of 36.67%, 46.67%, and 16.66%, respectively. The antibiotic sulphamethoxazole trimethoprime obtained bacteria with resistant, intermediate, and sensitive inhibition zone diameter categories of 5%, 23.33%, and 71.67%, respectively. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that bacteria causing catheterization-related urinary tract infections still show sensitivity to the antibiotic sulphamethoxazole trimethoprime compared to the antibiotic ciprofloxacin.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Baiq Isti Hijriani, Rubiyatma Sakaroni, Wirdullutfi Wirdullutfihttp://jurnal.unbim.ac.id/index.php/JPKIK/article/view/724Perbedaan Nilai Activated Partial Tromboplastin Time (APTT) Pada Penderita Diabetes Melitus Berdasarkan Umur Dan Lama Menderita2025-09-08T15:23:47+08:00Ika Nurfajri Mentari[email protected]Lismanjayani Lismanjayani[email protected]Nurul Hadiatun[email protected]Ni Nyoman Ariwidiani[email protected]
Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by increased glucose in the blood. Diabetes becomes more serious when complications occur, these complications can occur when DM sufferers experience hypercoagulation. One of the screening parameters for coagulation examination in a medical laboratory is APTT (Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time). Examination results that show a shortened APTT indicate a state of hypercoagulation. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a difference in APTT values ??in DM sufferers based on age and duration of suffering. This study is an observational study with a cross-sectional research design. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling with secondary data obtained from the patient's medical records and the sample of this study consisted of 96 respondents who underwent APTT examination within one year (May 2024-April 2025). The data that has been obtained is processed using SPSS according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in APTT values ??in DM sufferers based on age, while in DM sufferers based on duration of suffering there was no difference in A??? values.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ika Nurfajri Mentari, Lismanjayani Lismanjayani, Nurul Hadiatun, Ni Nyoman Ariwidianihttp://jurnal.unbim.ac.id/index.php/JPKIK/article/view/729Pengaruh Lama Penyimpanan Serum Kontrol Darah Sapi Pada Suhu -200c Terhadap Kadar Protein Total2025-10-09T21:25:15+08:00Wirdullutfi Wirdullutfi[email protected]Baiq Isti Hijriani[email protected]Rubiyatna Sakaroni[email protected]
The quality of testing in clinical laboratories is monitored by checking the accuracy of tests using quality control materials. One important parameter to test these materials is total protein measurement. Total protein testing is crucial because it provides an overall indication of liver function. This study aimed to determine the effect of the storage duration of bovine control serum at -20°C on total protein levels. The research used a quasi-experimental design, meaning it did not fully meet the criteria of a true experimental design, as some variables were not completely controlled or manipulated. The collected data were analyzed using a One Way ANOVA test, which compares samples with one category each. The average total protein level before storage was 7.698 g/L. After storage for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 weeks, the average levels were 7.693 g/L, 7.696 g/L, 7.700 g/L, 7.705 g/L, and 7.718 g/L, respectively. The One Way ANOVA test showed a between-group frequency of 5 and within-group frequency of 30. The F value was 1.083 with a p-value of 0.390, which is greater than 0.05. This means storage time at -20°C had no significant effect on total protein levels in bovine control serum. Therefore, it can be concluded that the duration of storage under these conditions does not affect total protein concentration.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Wirdullutfi Wirdullutfi, Baiq Isti Hijriani, Rubiyatma Sakaroni
